The Balvenie 12 Year Old DoubleWood is a single malt Scotch whisky renowned for its smooth, rich, and mellow character. This exceptional whisky gains its distinctive character from being matured in two different types of wood. It spends its first 12 years in traditional oak casks, which impart soft, sweet notes. It is then “finished” in sherry casks for a further nine months, adding layers of rich dried fruit, nutty sweetness, and a warming spice.
